It's been a year that my husband and I have been married. We live in a typical low income house within the confines of the Castle of King Gerald. We are a happy couple but I do have reservations about my husbands family. They always scolding me on my ettiquette. They are one to talk. They look and live like me.
I was in town with my neighbor, Yvette, when we heard gossip that the King is gravely ill. They say that the Prince will have to start taking a role in parliament immediately. One other man said the Prince is out learning about our ways. As I think about the conversation, I realized to my shame that I have no idea what our King, Queen
or Prince looked like. Another man broke my thought when he said that he believes the Prince had married and there is a Princess. This was interesting. I was discussing this with Yvette, when my husband comes in a hurry on horseback. He tells me that his father is sick and wants me to take care of him. I never liked the old man. I apologized to Yvette and told her I'll come by to talk with her when my husband's father is better.
I hop on the back of my husband's horse and put my arms around my husband's waist. During the ride I was telling him about what I heard at the shops earlier. He just grunted. He doesn't like gossip. As we ride, I notice we are getting closer to the palace. You can see how the houses change as we get closer. I was lost in thoughts of living in a nice house like the ones here that I didn't hear the palace guard allow us in the gates.
My husband taps my hand and said we are here. As I get down, I realize we are in the palace. I was going to ask my husband why we were here when a group of expensive looking people ran to my husband and bowed exclaiming Welcome home your Highness. Then looked at me and then bowed to me and said Your highness. What is going on here!?! Why are they bowing to us? Just as I was about to say something, my husband grabs my hand a runs. We pass a lot of people. As they notice us they bow. This is a trip. We finally made it to a door that was full of gold and jewels. That's when my husband looks at me, near to tears, and said his father is ill and asks if I can help him. I look at him at this vulnerable state and said I will try.
I open the heavy door to see my father-in-law laying in bed with his wife at his side and what seemed like a holy man. Once I entered, the holy man bowed. I approached the bed and took his hand as I looked in his weary eyes. His skin was hot. He looks at me with guilt then asks everyone to leave us in privacy. Once they left he turns his head to me and apologizes. He said he didn't want me to learn about being royalty until a year into our marriage. He wanted his son to learn about his kingdom by being one amongst then. He also wanted his wife to be wise and compassionate. He didn't want her to be after the money and the title. He said he believes he's dying. I accepted his apology.
I proceeded to ask him if he was around anything new. He said he took a trip to a nearby town. He tried a new dish made of a medley of vegetables. He said he started feeling sick afterwards, like an hour or two. I asked him to describe the vegetable. He said they mostlt were green and leafy but one was a bit purple. He said he asked what the purple on was and was told it was eggplant. He said it tasted off a bit so he only had maybe 2 bites of it. At that moment my intuition told me that it wasn't eggplant but its poisonous cousin. I called in my husband and gave him a list if items to buy at once.
I turned to my father-in-law and told him what is going on. I told him that he was poisoned. I don't think he was poisoned purposefully because the 2 vegetables look alike. I know the remedy for the poison because that is what my family does and will treat you. Hopefully we can catch the poison on time before it reaches his brain. He told him that he did great by not consuming any more. He turned to me and thanked me. He goes on to apologizing about being harsh with her for the past year. He said it was more about grooming me and making me throne ready when the time came. It was never the fact that he didn't like me. He thinks I'm a fine young lady.
I stayed by his beside until my husband came back with the ingredients. I excused myself to head to the kitchen to cook up my remedy. Within an hour our so, I bring the remedy to the King. I tell him it's going to taste horrible but it will work if he can get it down. He nods in with understanding. He takes a sip and exclaims how horrid it tastes. He pinches his nose and gulps it down with some gagging. When he finished, he nearly passed out. I told him to rest and I'll see him in the morning. The Queen says she'll get me if anything shall happen. I bowed to her. She hen tells one of the waut staff to escort me and my husband to our room.
My husband tries to talk to me as we head to our room in the castle. I would not listen to him. He pleaded for my attention and I didn't give him any until we were alone in our room. I turned to him and told him I was noy happy that our marriage was based upon a lie. I understood why but it still doesn't make it right. We took a vow to be honest with each other and yet you weren't. He apologized profusely. I consoled him saying it was nearly a year in anyway, I'd probably be told in 4 months anyhow. He picked me up and kissed me. I laughed and told him to put me down. I wanted to get ready for bed. He had our wait staff to order the maids to draw my bath. After a good bath, I see my husband propped up on the bed awaiting my return. He grabs my hand to assist me into the bed. Once in, he kisses my the palm of my hand then on the lips. Then whispers goodnight in my ear. He then blew out the candles.
At some point in middle of the night, there was loud knocking on our door. My husband asks who was it. It was the king's wait staff saying that they urgently need me in the king's quarters. I rush and put on a proper robe and slippers then followed the staff to the King. Once I entered his chambers I see him doubled over the side of his bed where a pail was placed on the floor. He was dry heaving at the moment. I bowed to both the Queen and him before I walked over to inspect what was going on. I look in the pail to see some of the purple poison and my healing concoction. This was a positive sign. I explained that to the both of them. I said I will check back in the morning. I head back to my room when the Queen came running after me. She thanking me for all my efforts and my efforts will be rewarded upon the King's return to good health. I bowed and told her it wasn't a problem and am happy to help. With that she turned and returned to her chamber with the King.
I return to my bed and immediately fell asleep. i was awaken by the morning rooster alerting all that is morning. I get up and get properly dressed and head to the King's chambers to check on him. I knock on his door when the guards recognized me and stepped aside. The chamber maid opened the door. Inside I see the King is sitting up smiling. The color in his cheeks has come back. I bowed before I approached him. I tell him that I want to take his temperature. He laughed and said ok. I put the back of my hand to his forehead. He still had a slight fever. Nothing critical. I told him he was progressing excellently. He grabbed my arm profusely. He said he felt at least 20 times better. i said I'm glad. The Queen turned to me and asked if I had eaten breakfast. I told her I hadn't. She then invited me to eat with her and the King. I bowed and said thank you.
Approximately 5 minutes after I sit down at the table with the King and Queen, my husband shows his face. The Queen scolded him about not looking in on his father and coming late to breakfast. He apologized saying he ran to ou house to pick up a few things for later. He also added that he knew they were in excellent care. We all sat and ate in silence. The King is eating well for a man who was near his deathbed the night before. Then he called everyone to attention. We all put down our utensils to listen. He said he was going to address his people and the court today around noon time and he wishes me and my husband to join him on the platform. I looked at my husband worriedly. He shrugged his shoulders. The Queen said she has made sure a nice dress has been placed in my room and a couple of chamber maids to assist me in dressing and putting on my makeup. I nod in acknowledgement. Just we were about done, a man the looks like he was great importance barged into the room screaming that what he said couldn't wait to the guards. The King said it was okay tolet him in. The man was his Seargant in Arms, his highest ranking official after the Prince. He claims that the chef admitted that he never seen the vegetables the were used to prepare his meal. They were placed on the table where his daily vegetables normally went. The King of that country is direly ill too and couple of guess are too. The King gave him my remedy to give them for cure. The man bowed and left.
After breakfast, I found a gorgeous dress along with a tiara in my chambers. This is getting surreal now. I can't wear it. The chambermaid said all princess must look the part. I felt ashamed. I never wanted this, I just wanted to live a happy comfortable life with my husband. I am bathed and dressed. They put some perfume on me and some make up. I didn't look anything like myself when I looked in the mirror. I looked like a Princess. I can't believe the transformation. My husband walks in with the attire of a Prince. He tells me I look absolutely gorgeous before he hugs me tightly. He whispers he loves me in my ears. I smile. He then takes my hand and said the King is waiting for us by the platform. He looked at me and told me I looked gorgeous. He walks up on stage. The court clapped and he quieted them down. He discussed his illness and how he overcame it. He discussed his son and his policy of sending his son to live amongst his people. He then mentioned that his son has taken a bride that is worthy. He then introduced us to the crowd as Prince and Princess. That was our queue to come on stage. I heard some gasps from people who probably new us. Then the whole audience bowed. I looked at my husband who stood proud. The King and Queen looked just as proud. This was the day that my life as a commoner ceased and I was now royalty.

Fruit Ninja
Fruit Ninja is one of those games you can play for couple minutes. They made the game easy to play and fits into as many time contraints you may have. This game also incorporates the full touch motion of your screen.

Ninja is on both iPhone and Android. However they can't interact. iPhone uses game center to interact with other players and Android uses OpenFeint. There is OpenFeint on iPhone but it's not integrated as GameCenter is.

Gameplay is very easy. You swipe your finger like a blade to cut up the fruit. Just stay away from the bombs. The more fruit sliced, the higher your score. On iPhone there are 4 modes to play: Classic, Zen, Arcade and Multi-player. Android does not have Multi-player mode.

Classic mode consists of you cutting fruit without fail. You cannot let 3 fruits fall without being sliced. If so, game is dobe. Also, if you slice a bomb, the game is done.

Zen mode is a bomb free mode. You have 90 seconds to cut up as many fruit as possible. I must say this is a very easy mode. No fear of hitting a bomb.
Arcade mode is where the action is. In Arcade you get frenzy, freeze and double point bananas. You have 90 seconds to complete. The bombs in this game does not stop your game but takes away 10 seconds from game. So be very weary of hitting one.

Frenzy bananas puts a ton of fruit on the screen so you can swipe like a mad person. Just be careful of people next to you, lol. Freeze bananas slows the fruit on screen. I don't see this as a benefit at times. You want to slice a lot of fruit. You don't want to be slowed down. Double point bananas is self explanatory. Just get some and slice away like a madperson.
Multi-player mode is not all that interesting. You can challenge one of your friends on Game Center or be set up on a blind match. I chose to be set up. You have to slice the fruit highlighted in your color or by white. If you slice other players color you lose points. You still only have 90 seconds to play.
Overall, this game is fun to play. With such a short play time, you can play it anywhere. Just don't play it in a meeting if you want to keep your job. This game will stay in my active game folder.
Fruit Ninja can be found in the iTunes App Store $0.99 for full version, The Market on Android $1.27 or on Amazon's Appstore $0.99.

Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds
I absolutely love button mashing fighting games. I love Marvel comics a shitload better than DC. I like the Streetfighter games. So Marvel vs Capcom is a sure fire bet. I've had older versions of the game for PS1. So I bought it for the PS3.

This game has more characters to play with. What really drew me to the game is that you can fight with the character Deadpool. I love Deadpool. I haven't bought a console game since I got the Kinect for Xbox. That is in another post to come.
MvC3 still uses the same 2D type graphics. But there's a 3rd dimension in the background.I don't know what to really call it. But it is nice. When you start the game, you get to chose to play offline and online. I always choose offline. I'm not good enough to fight live people. I push buttons, don't really pay attention to button codes and what have you.
In offline you can play the arcade mode, versus and _. I play versus with family and friends. However, for this review I'm just going to stick with the Arcade mode.

When you start you get to choose from over 20 characters. You can choose 3 to play with. I always choose my favorite 3: Deadpool, Chun-Li and X-23. They are wicked. Chun is the weakest of all 3, but I know how to work her from years of practice. You get to choose fighting preference from simple to expert.

Once you choose your characters and fighting preference you are courted off to your first battle. This is where the fun begins. Smack talk and all. Once you beat your first fight you are sent to 4 or 5 more before you have to fight the big boss. Guess who's the big boss? Galactus and a few other characters he summons so he can get rid of you. He wants to consume the Earth. This why you are fighting.

I have to admit, I have not beaten Galactus yet. I've gotten him very low the last time I tried. He hits very hard! One hit will take 1/3 of your health. You need to try not to get hit and give him as many special moves as you can. He's hard.

I love this game. As you play the game you unlock new characters to play and other goodies in the game. I've unlocked 2 characters so far. This game is an instant classic. It will be played over and over again. Some will complain it is too easy. I don't find it so. It's very challenging. If you are looking for more substance, you picked the wrong game. This is a button masher fighting game.
MvC3 is on both Xbox 360 and PS3 platforms. You can pucrhase game from Gamestop, Best Buy, Amazon or any store that sell video games.
Please note this game does not use motion capabilities like the Move or Kinect. You may lose some calories if you are like me who moves along with the game.

WHO IS JACK SCHITT?
For some time many of us have wondered just who is Jack Schitt? We find ourselves at a loss when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt!" Well, thanks to my genealogy efforts, you can now respond in an intellectual way.
Jack Schitt is the only son of Awe Schitt.
Awe Schitt, the fertilizer magnate, married O. Schitt, the owner of Needeep N. Schitt, Inc. They had one son, Jack.
In turn, Jack Schitt married Noe Schitt. The deeply religious couple produced six children: Holie Schitt, Giva Schitt, Fulla Schitt, Bull Schitt, and the twins Deep Schitt and Dip Schitt.
Against her parents' objections, Deep Schitt married Dumb Schitt, a high school dropout.
After being married 15 years, Jack and Noe Schitt divorced. Noe Schitt later married Ted Sherlock and because her kids were living with them, she wanted to keep her previous name. She was then known as Noe Schitt-Sherlock.
Meanwhile, Dip Schitt married Lodza Schitt, and they produced a son with a rather nervous disposition named Chicken Schitt. Two of the other six children, Fulla Schitt and Giva Schitt, were inseparable throughout childhood and subsequently married the Happens brothers in a dual ceremony. The wedding announcement in the newspaper announced the Schitt-Happens nuptials. The Schitt-Happens children were Dawg, Byrd, and Horse.
Bull Schitt, the prodigal son, left home to tour the world. He recently returned from Italy with his new Italian bride, Pisa Schitt.
NOW then, when someone says, "You don't know Jack Schitt," you can correct them.
Sincerely,
Crock O. Schitt

Collapse Free
Collapse is a puzzle game I've played on numerous cell phones. The style of play is famous all around. You tap groups of the same color to delete in order to clear the board in a certain time limit. I loved this game on my Windows Mobile phone (version 5.0).

This game is the free version of the game and it offers 2 game modes: Quest or Quick Play.

Quick Play:
You get to 4 different types of game strategies: Classic, Stategy, Panic Attack, Puzzle and Continuous. Each of these strategies have their own type of play. But game play is the same.
Classic:

Just standard matching color and deleting to clear board in a certain time frame.
Strategy:
Same standard color matching but there is a bit strategy to clear the board in the time frame.
Panic Attack:

Is like the classic play with 2 different plays. The 1st, you will have new colors coming in from the bottom of the screen and the top. The 2nd, the blocks already on the board will move from the bottom of the screen to the top. While it's on top the new blocks will come from the top too. You still have to cleae the board in allotted time.
Puzzle:

Puzzle is a bit different. You still have to clear the board. However, the board is completely filled with blocks. You will need to clear the board in the fewest moves possible to get higher scores.
Continuous:
This just the classic game without a time limit. It can keep you busy until you lose game when blocks fill up the board.
Quest Play:
You have 4 worlds. Each world has different stages. The stages are a variety of the types of game play from the quick play section. You don't know what game play you'll get until you play the stage.
World 1 has 8 stages

World 2 has 8 stages

World 3 has 10 stages

World 4 has 10 stages and the final boss stage.

I played the quest mode first. I like the quest mode a lot. I have finished all stages except for the boss. I am 0/40 tries on the boss. They made sure that boss stage was a kick ass. You think you are going to win but you end up losing. I will beat that stage,I swear. For now, I play the quick play for now. I have to have no interruptions when doing the boss stage. For a free game, this game is great. It's an actual full game for free. I am a bit nervous of what the paid version offers, but I may end up buying it eventually. I haven't had any glitches with game. I adore it.
Collapse Free can be found on iTunes App Store for FREE.

Doodle Jump
Doodle Jump by Lima Sky is a mindless game that can be addictive. I should tell you the story on how I have this game on my iPhone. It makes this game nostalgic and a funny memory.
When I first got my iPhone my boss was showing me some features of the phone on his own. Then he asked to see mine. I handed my phone to him. I trust him so it was no big deal. A minute later he said, here type in your password. I did as told and handed my phone back to him. Couple seconds later he goes into his wallet and takes out $1.00 and handed me both the $1.00 and my phone. He downloaded Doodle Jump and said it is the best game he's played so far.
Cute story right? Well let's get this review going. Like I said this game is mindless and very simple. The opening screen is very simple.

The object of the game is to get the doodle as high as possible.
<

I really can't tell you what happens towards the top. I can never make it to the top for 2 reasons. One, I can't concentrate on the game for too long. And two, I have very little patience.
This game requires both.
Lima has made multiple updated to the game to keep it fresh. The updates are usually new themes. So far they have the following:
- Halloween
- Easter (can only play when you change your name to Hop)
- Soccer
- Winter
- Outer Space
- Amazon Jungle
- Under Water
I am looking forward to new themes. This game does get a lot of love from their designer and it still in iTunes top 50.
The game play is simple. You move your phone in the direction you want your doodle to go. I am always rotating games on my iPhone. I have never taken this game off of my phone. I don't play it often but it's a game that helps me pass the time.
Doodle Jump can be found in the iTunes App Store for $0.99.

Vampires: Bloodlust
Liking Mafia Wars from Zynga, I decided to try Vampire Wars on my iPhone. It has the same appeal of Mafia Wars, just a different theme.

The game play is exactly the same. It's a click thru game. No real live action. You do missions to get gear, experience and blood. You get to increase the following stats when you level: Blood (currency), Health, Energy, and Rage, to name a few.

You can fight other players. Oh? Didn't I mention this game is sort of a MMO? Well it says it is. You see a list of other players in the section called Fight. There you can decide who to fight based on their level and number of their clan. The more clan members that a player has over you, you are sure to lose a lot of blood and gain very little experience.

For me, this part of the game is a waste of time. You're on a cell phone, who can you gather to be one of your clan? Some people leave their ID in the review section in the App Store just to build up their clan. I did this for a little bit. You can also buy clan members with Elder Points in the Elder section once you aquire enough. It takes awhile to build up these points or you can buy them with your hard earned American currency or whatever currency you work for.

You spend your Rage stats in order to fight. Since it's not that important to me, I never increase it.
Also, while you are playing and when you are not, people are attacking you. This constantly lowers your health. When your health gets too low, you can go to your Crypt to heal for a price of blood. The cost changes depends on your health level.

You can only do this once a day. You regenerate health naturally and you can also buy health using your elder points.
You can also obtain Domains under the Feast section where you can maintain your blood supply.

The downside of this, is the each domain has a time limit before you lose blood instead of aquiring it. This pretty much mandates that you stay on the game as frequently as possible so you can reap your reward of blood. This is just not very productive to me either. You need blood to purchase stronger items as you go thru jobs. You don't get very much blood doing the jobs so the Domain is another source of blood. But I forgot to mention how you can obtain Domain. You purchase them with blood. So if you don't have enough blood, you can't hope to get any more from Domains.
You can also gather Minions in the same Feast section. This is another source of blood for you. It is also the same as Domains in that you have to buy them with blood. Minions do not have a time limit. It's continuous blood.

Now the part of the game that kept my interest, Missions. Missions are easy to do. You need to have the specific level, weapons and Energy in order to do the job. You also have to master the missions in 3 levels; bronze, silver and gold.

After you do missions you get different abilities that help you do other missions and in fights.

You unlock missions as you advance in levels and completion of missions. This gives me a goal to attempt to achieve.
This game was my 2nd addictive game after Mafia Wars on the iPhone when I got it. I loved the game. The downsides of the game are as follows:
- Zynga took too long to update the app with new missions. I nearly exhausted all the missions so there wasn't much to do. They update the Facebook versions first.
- Earning blood after a while became too easy. Economy sucks.
- The weekly missions don't pay out well.
Otherwise this game is great.
You can find it in the iTunes App store for FREE.

Life Experiences
I never know if my advice is ever good, but they do come from my experiences. I'm always hard on people about getting self esteem, not wasting time and game playing. Granted those are 3 of my pet peeves when it comes to people. I have very little patience when it comes to them.
I want women to stop just taking what men are throwing out. Guys will take advantage of you if you let them. They like to have their cake and eat it. I'm saying as women you need to hold your ground and principles. Don't cave in just to make a man like you. You must love yourself and what you stand for first. If a man sees that, he'll take you seriously.
Here are 2 games men play and how to overcome it.
1. He says he loves you and yet you have never been introduced to any of his family and friends. You ask him why and he gives you all the lame excuses like "you are dating me not my friends or family" or "my children's mother doesn't want my girlfriends around her children".
Honey, if he loved you, you would meet everyone he loves. He'd want you intermixed with his circle of love. He'd want you involved in a lot of aspects in his life. He can't afford to hide you. That said, if you get the excuses you are either 2 things to him: a jump off or Miss Right Now. Neither of those are beneficial for you. You are not important to him, so he's just going to give you enough to keep you to stay with him so he can get what he wants, free sex.
What should you do if you are in this situation? The answer is easy, drop him like a bad habit. He's really not worth keeping because you are definitely not worth anything to him. That sounded tough, but it's very honest. I know and have experienced this situation in my own life.
It took him leaving the state for me to realize what was happening. I had feelings which clouded my judgement. But once he left, I felt used and hurt. He didn't even discuss his moving with me. He just told me one day and 2 days later he was gone. I'm embarrassed to say that 2 years of my life was wasted on a guy who apparently didn't give a damn. I was just not important to him.
2. He is always concerned about what other men or women are talking to you about and where you are at all times.
This could mean 3 things; he's very insecure, he's cheating or he's a control freak. Let's go one by one.
He's insecure. That means he feels threatened by all people who talk to you. It makes him feel like less of a man because in his head he's not as good as those who you talk to. Seriously, this type of guy is just a loser and you should not even bother. He's the type who can't make a decision to save his life.If you are a domineering woman, then maybe you can keep him in check. Otherwise it gets old fast.
He's cheating. He needs all the facts so he doesn't get caught. He needs to know if you are on to him, if your friends are on to him. He can also use the guys you talk to as leverage. He'll accuse you of cheating so he can justify his own infidelity. The more he knows the better he can hide his dirt. He's a snake and he's risking your life in the process. You never know what he's bringing to you.
He's a control freak. And these fools turn into abusers. He needs to control who you associate with. If he doesn't approve, he's going tell you to cease contact with them. Why? He wants to be the only influence in your life. That way he can treat you any which way he wants.
I have personally dealt with the insecure man. I've dealt with multiple of them. I don't know why I didn't learn from the first time. You always want to give the guy the benefit of the doubt.
If a woman is secure in themselves and have strong principles then you stand lessbof a chance to be played. Guy can be very sneaky when they want to. I know there are a lot of great men out there. But most women don't want them. They want the "bad" boy. With the "bad boy comes the game playing. It's part of the territory. Keep your eyes open and make your principles known. With that you will find the guy who will treat you well.
